PATRIOT SPOUSES' CLUB OF FORT SILL (PSC)
We are taking a break from luncheons in March, but you won't want to miss out on our Cow Chip Fundraiser and Western Hoedown Come join in the fun as we see where Mabel the Cow will stake her claim. You can buy squares now for a chance to win a 65-inch TV donated by Billingsley Ford. We will also be having a Western Hoedown while we wait for Mabel to find her special spot. There will be all kinds of fun activities such as a gaming den and charity jail along with a silent and live auction. When: March 25, 2023, from 5:00-10:00pm Where: Historic Patriot Club *You can purchase tickets for a meal through MWR in advance at the Patriot Club or at the door the day of the event. The cost is $12.00 per person.* All proceeds raised will go towards our scholarship fund. (Applications are due April 14; see above for link.) VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We will need lots of helping hands to make this event one that everyone can enjoy. The shifts are short so that you can still enjoy the party! Would you like to serve on our team of wonderful volunteers? We are looking for you! We have many positions open for the 2023-2024 Board Year. We are currently looking for those who would like to serve on the Executive Board and Governing Board.
| The Executive Board (Voted Positions): President - Oversees the Club. First Vice President - Oversees the Membership Meetings (Luncheons.) Second Vice President - Oversees the FUNdraisers. Secretary - Keeps the club organized on an administration level Treasurer - Keeps the club organized on a financial level Parliamentarian - Oversees parliamentary procedure Publicity Coordinator - Oversees all media and in-person club publicity. The Governing Board (Appointed Positions): Scholarship Chair - coordinates the committee for scholarship approval. Membership / Reservations Chair- coordinates the Super Sign Up event and event reservations. Hospitality Chair - The welcoming face for our current and new members. Webmaster - Oversees the website. You don't need to know how to build a website! Newsletter Chair - Creates the monthly newsletter. Social Media Chair - Oversees our media presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok Flocking Chair - Deploy lawn flamingos onto unsuspecting lawns. Historian and Properties Chair - The club photographer and organizer of club items/property Community Outreach - Coordinates volunteer and charitable opportunities every month. Volunteer Coordinator - Creates volunteer sign ups and verify volunteer hours on VMIS Special Activities Chair - Oversees Subclubs and creates a calendar with subclub events Retiree Spouses Liaison - Liaison for Retiree Spouses International Spouses Liaison - Liaison for International Spouses Ways and Means - Club vendor that raises funds for the operational account." |

flamingo fundraising season is here until may 2023
How it worksHelp support the Fort Sill Patriot Spouses' Club this year while having a little pink flamingo fun! Make a donation and use this linked form to send a flock of pink flamingos to your friends or neighbor's front yard! The recipient will then have the opportunity to choose the next house (by paying the suggested donation fee of $20-$40) The recipient is not required to make a donation.
